Abstract [sv]

I denna D-uppsats optimeras en absorptionskylmaskin. För att analysera den termodynamiska effektiviteten gjordes experiment som sedan låg till grund för beräkning av absorptionskylmaskinens entropiproduktion. Experimenten gjordes vid två olika utgående köldbärartemperaturer; 4*C och 6*C. Optimeringsmetoden som användes är entropiproduktionsminimering. I uppsatsen presenteras fyra termodynamiska analyser varav en har tillämpats på absorptionskylmaskinen. Resultatet visar de driftfall där entropiproduktionen är minst samt en ekonomisk analys baserad på alternativkostnaden för drivenergin. I uppsatsen ges också förslag på åtgärder som innebär mindre entropiproduktion.

Abstract [en]

In this master thesis the object of optimization is an absorption refrigerator. To calculate the generation of entropy for the absorption refrigerator experiments were carried out. The experiments were done at two different temperatures for the outgoing chilled water, 4*C and 6*C. The used method of optimization is entropy generation minimization (EGM). In this master thesis four thermodynamic analysis are carried out. One of these was applied on the absorption refrigerator. The result shows which inlet temperatur of the cooling water that generates minimal entropy. An economical analysis was also carried out. The cost is based on the alternativecost for the heat source. We also give proposals of improvements that generate minimal entropy.
