Abstract [en]

As conclusion of this education for Electrical Engineering course at Karlstad University you do a graduation assignment. The graduation assignment corresponds to course of 10 academic points and is required in order to be eligible to graduate. We fulfilled the assignment at Karlstads Teknikcenter, where we also did the most of the work. The purpose of this project is to be able to control and watch the automation application at Karlstads Teknikcenter using a web interface.Elements such as HTML programming, establishing communication between CPU/CP and configuration of the hardware have been major parts of this project. The report is written in such way that we describe all the parts that this project contains. We have however chosen to explain the procedure more detailed for some elements in the project.A great amount of time has been spent collecting knowledge regarding the different devices that the application contains. The communication processor is the unit we have been studying for the most part of our time, the CP and the components that are adjacent to it are being described in detail and more accurate than the other parts in this project.One of numerous softwares we have bumped in too over the time we spent with this project is Siemens STEP 7. STEP 7 is a tool that is in support of hardware-configuration for the devices in a desirable way.
